Class Description.

The purpose of this course is to help your puppy or dog learn body awareness, how to focus on you around distractions, and how to think and problem solve through fun games and exercises. Puppies and dogs will learn to use their minds and bodies in a way that will help them, and you, succeed in future dog sports and in everyday life.

Spectators are welcome and may drop by to watch classes. It is strongly suggested you check with the Markim office before coming down to be sure of times when classes are scheduled that day.

Depends on dog and handler. Classes are 6 weeks long with the owners.

 

Skills Learned

These classes cover flat work, focus work, obstacle intro, and beginning handling techniques.

Prerequisites

Age: 3 months old or older. First set of immunizations, including rabies, and a clean bill of health from your veterinarian. All new students not starting at the Foundation level must do a half (1/2) an hour private lesson to asses the best class for them.
